About the program
“Fußball trifft Kultur” (FTK) was launched by LitCam in 2007 and aims to give children in need of support (from promoting language and movement to strengthening social skills) the chance of a better education.
It has since grown into an integrative educational program that is run at 34 locations in 24 cities together with 24 Bundesliga clubs.
The DFL Foundation has been a nationwide cooperation partner since 2012.
The combination of soccer training, remedial lessons and cultural activities improves the children’s social and communicative behavior, strengthens their motivation to learn and awakens their interest in cultural topics.
The children are driven by their enthusiasm for soccer, improve their language skills through play and participate more actively in lessons.
